With tuppence for paper and strings/you can have your own set of wings...

I'm still slightly in awe, and hope I always will be, with the magnificence and beauty and sheer emotive power of that movie. That is just Art. It's in a class all by itself--well, okay, so maybe it shares cubicle space with The Princess Bride, and on rainy days with Hook. But really...

As far as the migratory patterns of shiny things...I assume you're talking about penguins? They migrate through your house, silently, just about whenever you're not looking, stealing peanut butter, spare socks, and ballpoint pens, and your keys as they go. Doubt me? I dare you to find that one sock.

Interesting, how your point about Jesus bringing his purpose into the situation is strangely similar in concept to the spoonful of sugar concept. Or the spoonful of hydrochloric acid, depending on the context. But if I extrapolate that, I'd go on a way too long discourse about Mary Poppins that would probably pull in all sorts of odd quotes from Henri Nouwen and George MacDonald and St. John, and heaven help us I should have my own blog already...

Always like hearing your thoughts, bro.
